Yamaha Tone, Touch and Elegance
First, the MIDI Piano is an acoustic piano. Yamaha’s world-renown tone and touch gives you the ultimate in performance capabilities. They are available in many beautiful and elegant traditional piano cabinet styles.

MIDI In/Out
MIDI ( Musical Instrument Digital Interface ) connects the MIDI Piano to other keyboards, external modules and computers.

Headphones ( For Private Practice )
Plug in the headphones and you can play in complete privacy. This is made possible by Yamaha’s advanced Piano Mute Rail system. When the mute rail is engaged the hammers will not strike the strings, allowing you to hear and enjoy the sound of a Yamaha concert grand – digitally reproduced through the headphones. If a family member or friend would like to also listen, no problem, each MIDI Piano has two headphone jacks.

Audio Out
Project the digital sound of a concert grand through speakers or directly into a recording device. ( CD , tape deck etc. )
