Communication Skills
Being able to communicate effectively is the most
important of all life skills.
Communication is simply the act of transferring
information from one place to another, whether this
be vocally (using voice), visually (using logos,
maps, charts or graphs) or non-verbally (using body
language, gestures and the tone and pitch of voice).
How well this information can be transmitted and received is
a measure of how good our communication skills are.
Developing your communication skills can help all
aspects of your life, from your professional life to
social gatherings and everything in between. The
ability to communicate information accurately,
clearly and as intended, is a vital life skill and
something that should not be overlooked. It’s never
too late to work on your communication skills and by
doing so improve your quality of life. |

The 7 Chakras
All life
experiences have an affect upon us. Some experiences
will be positive and some negative. It is these
negative experiences which can manifest themselves
physically over time as dis-ease. For example,
perhaps over the years we have been in a situation
where we have felt unable, for one reason or
another, to speak our mind, or to express our needs
and feelings. This can manifest as a problem in the
throat chakra. The throat chakra relates in the
spiritual aspect to self expression. Thus, if our
self expression has been blocked, the energy in this
area will not be free flowing. Working with the
appropriate color/colors can help to dispel negative
feelings, free blocks and re-balance the body.
Listed below is each of the spectrum colors and the
chakra which it relates to.
The 7 main Chakras are the energy centers in our
body in which energy flows through. Blocked energy
in our 7 Chakras can often lead to illness so it's
important to understand what each Chakra represents
and what we can do to keep this energy flowing
freely.

Journey into Woods - Guided Imagery
A
mental image can be defined as “a thought with
sensory qualities.” It is something we mentally see,
hear, taste, smell, touch, or feel. The term “guided imagery” refers to a wide variety
of techniques, including simple visualization and
direct suggestion using imagery, metaphor and
story-telling, fantasy exploration and game playing,
dream interpretation, drawing, and active
imagination where elements of the unconscious are
invited to appear as images that can communicate
with the conscious mind. Once
considered an “alternative” “or complementary”
approach, guided imagery is now finding widespread
scientific and public acceptance, and it is being
used to teach psycho-physiological relaxation,
alleviate anxiety and depression, relieve physical
and psychological symptoms, overcome
health-endangering habits, resolve conflicts, and
help patients prepare for surgery and tolerate
procedures more comfortably.

Improvisation and Group Dynamics
Who would have
thought that participating in group improvisation
could be so enlightening and rewarding! In a group,
improvisation comes to create a new awareness in the
mind and spirit of people from aspects of life. The
improvisation games are included for developing
group chemistry: creation, bonding, dynamics,
energy, focus and more. Techniques are discussed for
breaking the ice, agreement, listening and support,
teamwork, quick thinking and having fun! The session
of improvisation, is created by a synergy between
improvisation participants. They can use accessories
in the act, and it is the feeling of being part of a
greater entity, a sense of excitement, belonging,
importance that takes acting skills to a new level,
creating new friendships.

are scheduled in our event ARTICLES
and also are available for private groups, workplaces, ladies/couple's night
and other gathering. |

individuals who are seeking for help and groups are
not the forum they are looking for. these sessions
are good for people who would like to heal their
bodies and spirits from wounds, accidents, abuse,
anxiety, fear, and depression. Our coaches will give
you tools to function better, to ease your mind and
feel happier and stronger. Sessions are set up for
minimum 5 appointments and are one hour long. Our
operation hours are from 10am to 6pm and are by
appointment only. |
